Do your music students struggle to remember their notes? Are they tired of reviewing flashcards?
Engage your students in a fun board game as they review lines and spaces, intervals, landmark notes, as well as the entire grand staff!
This game is extremely flexible, allowing you to use it with your whole studio. The 86 cards allow you to mix and match concepts for each student. No matter what method you use to teach note reading- intervallic, mnemonic, landmark, or straight memorization- these cards will help your students master the concept!
Print game board on page 5. Pick which set of note cards you wish to print- Question Cards p. 7-9, Landmark Cards p. 11, Interval Cards p. 13-15, Grand Staff Cards 17-19- then reinsert into your printer to print the optional card backs (page 20). Laminate if desired, then cut out cards.
Start with your game tokens on the Start square. Players roll the dice, move that amount of spaces, then draws a card. Whoever gets to the Mission Solved square first wins the game. If you land on a picture, you get to take another turn.
