Songs are checked off as they are completed in the Piano Lab Notebook. All songs listed are free from http://www.gmajormusictheory.org/Freebies/freebies.html
Students use this one sheet K-5 and get to take it home as proof of their accomplishments after 5th grade. Copy it onto cardstock back to back landscape. There are two copies/page. Cut it in half and keep in a small box by grade level by the pianos for them to access when they are ready to pass. I put the year in to check off the song so they can see their progress. For Level one songs I write the note names in – they disappear after level 1. I use a piano picture that slips into the crack above the keys that shows note names and staff position for that note for early levels.
