PowerPoint Presentation of Music Fundamentals - Vocal Exploration
Pitch Accuracy, Ear Training, & Vocal Exploration Exercises*
Very Humorous, Very Engaging for Young Students

This is a lesson plan that your students will fall in love with! Your students have been asked to sing to the King! A friendly girl with her bow and arrow shows students what it means to sing in tune. Firing the bow too low means our voices are too flat. Firing the bow too high means our voices are too sharp. Students then being to prepare by practicing their pitch accuracy. As students sing various solfege exercises, there is a target on a tree. If students voices are too sharp The teacher can move the computers curser high on the archery target on the tree. If the students voices are too flat, you (the teacher) can move your computers curser low on the archery target on the tree. Afterwards, students are invited to the kings castle to sing where another archery target is hung up on the wall. The solfege exercises become more challenging for the king, which requires students to engage in pitch accuracy, ear training, and vocal exploration

Make Note! This lesson can be used for several months for students to practice their pitch accuracy! Also, the slides are editable. If you would like to re-arrange the solfege in different orders if students are beginning to memorize them you may do so!
