This is a dynamic game for budding musicians. Supply your own dice, and something to use for markers. (Try erasers, coins, or any small seasonal item) Assign a student as the "Answer Captain" and they get the answer sheet, which is included. Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their marker the number of spaces indicated on the dice. They must answer the question on the space where they land. The "Answer Captain" will check to see if the question was answered correctly. Students will love answering questions and tapping out the rhythms to try to be the first player to reach the Carnegie Hall of Fame. Along the way, students learn musical symbols, composer names, instruments, and occasionally get to skip spaces or have to go back to start! You will want to laminate this game so it will last and last. Students will want to play this game over and over again. Can be played with one player, but is the most fun with three or more players.
