Each product contains 2 components: 15 student interactive game slides (created with PowerPoint 2013 tested on 2010) and 2 assessments. Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on the furry monster to hear a melodic pattern. They will then click on the candy that matches the melody they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they were able to determine which melody was played or if they need to listen again. Watch their eyes as small baby monsters appear and eat the candy when they are correct! The product works well with Smartboards! Students just have to touch the board to activate the animations.
Two assessments plus the answer keys are included with each product as a separate PowerPoint document so you are able to formally assess students on the concept in a later lesson. The assessment document includes:
★ 2 student tests utilizing a modified staff and 5 line staff including rhythm. You have the option of printing in color or in black and white.
★ Two assessment keys
★ A sample slide of each student test (created with PowerPoint 2013). Instead of singing/playing the melodies just project the slide on your board and access the sounds by clicking on the monster!
