This file is a collection of 6 rhythm board games that your students are sure to love! These will work well in centers, for your sub folder or for those dreadful indoor-recess days!!!
In the Rhythm Rally Games your students will use roll a dice to make their way across the game board. During play, students will roll or spin an the name of a rhythmic element specific to that game or a dice that contains information about the criticial attribute of that notes (ie. a quarter note would be "1 sound on 1 beat". They must advance to the next spot that contains the matching rhythmic element. If they are wrong, back to the beginning they go!
The six games practice the following note values:
Game 1: quarter rest, barred eighth notes and quarter notes
Game 2: quarter rest, barred eighth notes, quarter notes and half note
Game 3: quarter rest, barred eighth notes, quarter notes, half note and 4 sixteenth notes
Game 4: quarter rest, barred eighth notes, quarter notes, half note and 1 eighth-2 sixteenth notes
Game 5: quarter rest, barred eighth notes, quarter notes, half note and 2 sixteenth notes-1 eighth
