This is a fun and creative activity for students to complete in the winter months, especially if you are teaching notation or treble clef/bass clef/alto clef notes.
This easy to use worksheet converts a standard name of a student into the musical alphabet so they can plot their name on the staff accurately. After students plot their name with note heads, use their creativity to make rhythms out of the letters of their name, and cut out and decorate their finished product--it looks nothing short of stunning!
A great activity to reinforce notation and clef work and display outside the classroom.
Enjoy--and let it snow!
