♫ "Playing with Matches" is a play on words that means matching the symbols with their names. Note the picture of the display of my wall in the product thumbnails. By leaving the music symbols up on your wall all year long, you can use a laser pointer to refer to them as needed.
Music Notation Symbols
The goal is for all music students to
(1) identify music symbols by name
(2) demonstrate knowledge by what they do or what they mean
(3) draw the symbol that goes with the corresponding word.
