This was an excellent sub plan for my 1st and 2nd graders who were just learning about reading rhythms.
Probably too easy for students who have had exposure to music, but for a school that had zero music education, I used it for my upper grades as well. Literally step by step guide, so there was no getting around “I didn’t understand the instructions.” Again, for a rigorously academic school, I would only use this for lower elementary.
so simple, yet so helpful in training young musicians. Used this to teach them how to make notes correctly.
