This kit provides you with the worksheets and digital files to create your own treasure hunt music jars for use in the music classroom. Included are directions for creating your bottles and using them in your classroom, Cut Apart Music Notes for your bottles,Optional Bottle Labels, a Treasure Hunt Tracker Worksheet, and a Note Reading Found Objects music spelling sheet for students who finish early. To complete this, you will need to provide your own "jar filler" (beads, beans, small toys, etc.) and your own jar (water bottle, mason jar, etc.) This works as a group or individual activity and works well for music room station work. Students will be given a "I Spy" type jar with music notation inside. It is their job to find all the notes and track them (as well as identify their letter name) on their worksheet. There is a second worksheet for students to track the non-note items they find in their jar and spell them with musical spelling.
