This product is a set of rules for the music classroom. These rules have been developed after nine years of teaching experience and have proven to be effective in managing a music classroom.
There are three main rules. Most major theories of classroom management support the theory of three or fewer classroom rules. However, classroom experience shows that young students need specific and concrete behavior definitions. So, each of the three main rules has 4 - 5 "sub rules" that describe the behavior expectations for that rule. Images are also included that help define the rule for visual learners and pre-readers.
The three main rules are:
1. Be a Learner
2. Respect Others
3. Be a Musician
The posters are formatted to print clearly up to 24" x 36". You can also use them as a presentation to project the rules as you teach them!
