What educators are saying

This escape room is fun! Very thorough with little prep involved. Nice that it coordinates with the theory curriculum I already have from Band Directors Talk Shop.
Used this with my grade 7 and 8 students for when they finished their work early - they enjoyed it and found it engaging. It was definitely a quick solve for most of them though (around 15 minutes).

This activity is also perfect for a truly beneficial lesson with a substitute teacher and can work for band, choir, orchestra or general music. (Bass & treble clef are included in the google form, alto clef is included in a supplemental sheet that can be printed/delivered digitally so violists can fully participate.)

Everything should work just fine with iPads! If you have any issues, try...

- Try using Safari as a browser instead of Chrome/Firefox

- Be sure students are using the internet, not the Google Form APP.

- Partner students with iPads with other students who have laptops and have them enter the answers into the laptop.
