'Treble Clef Critters' Notebook file was created to help children learn the names of the notes in the treble clef in a different, fun way.
Each page introduces a critter character who represents one of the lines and spaces in the treble staff. The first letter of the character's name is associated with the letter name of a particular line or space.
Fun activities include dragging a character to the correct line or space, clicking the speaker button to hear a flute playing selected pitches, and clicking 'answer' to check if a student was correct in verbally describing where the letter belongs on the staff. There are also activities to create melodies by tapping sound icons, and activities to check understanding by dragging notes or critters to the correct line or space.
Students enjoy learning the names of the notes in treble clef with the help of Anthony Ant, Betty Bee, Catherine Caterpillar, Duncan Duck, Eddie Eagle, Francisco Frog and Gracie Grasshoper!
A worksheet/assessment in story form is also included at the end, and as a PDF file.
