This music video assignment includes all steps for a fourth quarter project that definitely takes Spanish students out of their comfort zone and into new challenges. Students select their favorite song and rewrite a new song, using vocabulary and grammar learned in class, for new lyrics. They record a music video and present it in class. The instructions explain how to break down the steps and provide for two different grades, a test or writing grade and a project grade. Enjoy, have fun and be amazed. My students love this project. The concept can be used in any foreign language class.
