This set of worksheets is designed to help your students practice re in patterns with do mi sol and la.

*The zip file contains a copy to be used for "sol" as well as "so". Just use whichever version you need!

It includes:
- "A New Neighbor on Solfa Street" worksheets. This also comes in a "Melody Street" and "Music Street" version. If you call your solfa street something else, let me know and I will customize it for you. Students show which house is do re mi sol and la on Solfa Street. Then, they trace do re mi sol la on the staff.

- "do re mi trace" Trace in each d-r-m pattern on the staff and then fill in the note heads.

- "do re mi Trace and Place" - trace the do and mi on each staff and place re on the correct line or space.

- "Where in the world is re?" worksheet- do is shown on the staff on a line or in a space with do clef. Draw to show where re will go.

- "Help the Sun find its re" drm sl patterns are shown in a variety of places on the staff. Help the baker find each do by circling it. This comes in two versions, one with filled in note heads and one with empty note heads. On the one with empty note heads, students can color in to show which one is re.

- "On the search for re" - do re mi sol and la are showed on staff in a variety of places, students circle to show which note is do. This comes in two versions, one with filled in note heads and one with empty note heads.

- "A Solfege Masterpiece" - Color the la's purple, the sol's blue, the mi's yellow, the re's orange, and the do's red.

- "Hot Cross Buns" Students cut and paste the patterns to put the song in order.

- "Re Match Up" Students draw a line to match up the four beat phrase of each song to the correct song title and picture. (answers are from the songs Hot Cross Buns, Great Big House in New Orleans, Closet Key, and Frog in the Meadow).

- "Compose your own do song" - Students use given rhythms (ta titi and half note) to create a plan for their own composition by writing l s m r or d under each one and then moving it down to the staff.
