Ahoy matey! This pirate themed bulletin board declares that what happens in music class is a treasure! Included in this kit are 16 words that describe what happens during music class. Some of the included treasures are: singing, dancing, clapping, listening, imagining and composing.
Title letters and words are included. The letters for the word "treasure" are about 9 1/2 inches tall. The letters for "music" are approximately 4 inches tall.
Also included in this kit are two writing sheets. One has lines for writing and the other has an open space. I use the open space for young students and have them draw their response instead of writing a sentence or paragraph. Give students a prompt like "Why is music important to learn?" or "What benefits are there to studying music?" The writing sheets do not have a prompt on them so that you can customize it to your needs. Hang the responses up on or near your bulletin board display.
I have included a second version of this kit using a font that is a little easier to read than the boney one shown in the preview. The word "music" still appears in the bone letters.
