Musical Animal Alphabet - Bulletin Board and Coloring Pages

Mix it up and teach students the alphabet with pictures of musical animals playing instruments from around the world! Each letter of the alphabet comes with a cartoon image of an animal playing an instrument. For instance, for the letter B you get a Bear playing the Banjo and for V you get a Vulture playing the Violin. Each letter poster comes in full color, black and white, and half-size color. The black and white options are "ink friendly" but also function really well as coloring pages great for primary grades, centers, or substitute work!

I teach in a building of English Language Learners and I wanted to add something fun and musical to my classroom that would support their work on literacy. So, I created this set which features pictures of instruments and animals for each letter of the alphabet. The posters will reinforce the letters of the alphabet and also provides an image of an instrument an animal that match the letter. What a fun way to enhance schema!

I printed and posted these above my white board but I think they could be easily used as flash cards as well. I've included a variety of options so that this resource can work for you!
