Product Description
In this document, you will find a word search with common musical terms as well as their definitions. I have also included an answer key. This is the perfect sub plan or time filler activity. Answers can be found forwards, down, and diagonally.

Please note - I tried to keep the definitions as simple as possible.

I have included the following:
Bass Clef – Below Treble Clef. F Clef
Breath Mark – Take a breath
Caesura – Long pause
Coda – End, concluding passage
Crescendo – Gradually louder
Diminuendo – Gradually softer
Eighth Note – Eighth of a whole note
Eighth Rest – Rest (see eighth note)
Fermata – Hold note
Flat – Lower the pitch by a half step
Half Note – Half of a whole note
Half Rest – Rest (see half note)
Quarter Note – A fourth of a whole note
Quarter Rest – Rest (see quarter note)
Repeat Sign – Repeat the passage
Sharp – Raise the pitch by a half step
Treble Clef – Most common clef. G Clef
Whole Note – Four counts
Whole Rest – Rest four counts
