Also works on beginning writing skills and sentences structure (syntax). The book has 13 adaptable pages. The student will match the corresponding pictures to the sentence strip, creating pronoun + is/ are + verb + ing sentences with ease. (Ex: He is playing the violin.)
Uses simple non-distracting images that allow students to focus on the action rather than the background.
After students finish writing the book I like to have them practice copying down the sentences they have made.
This is a great way to have students with minimal verbal skills practice reading/ writing and syntax.
