Musical Noun Scoot. My Students LOVE this game! It’s just like traditional scoot with a musical chairs kind of touch.
I place a card on each desk. Have each student put a sharpeded pencil with an eraser on their desk next to the card. Then the students stand up and push in their chairs. All students will carry their answer page with them. I start the music and the kids dance around. When the music stops, they sit down at the nearest desk. They fill in the answer sheet for the card on that desk, then stand up and push in the chair back in so I know they are ready to go again. We continue in this fashion until students have finished their answer page. The answer page already has the information on it. They just circle, common or proper, singular or plural, and if it’s a person, place, or thing. I have included two versions. One with abstract nouns and one without. Directions include alternative game play also!
