This game is to help children learn the various symbols used in musical notation. It includes notes and dynamic symbols.
Children play the game much like you would play the game Chutes and Ladders. You need to provide some token for the children to use for their pieces and a die (or pair of dice).
The standards provided in the directions are the NafME Core Arts Standards published in the summer of 2014 for grades pk-3 (the primary levels I teach), but this game can also be used for older children.
You will need to print the game board onto 11x17 paper. I typically print it out and then dry mount it onto mat board (which I purchase at the craft store) to provide a firm playing surface.
