Here's a fabulous mustache-themed activity that is student-approved! This product features initial, medial, and final /k/, /g/, /f/, and /v/. All of my articulation students have LOVED this game, and I am sure yours will as well!
• 24 Initial, 24 Medial, and 24 Final /k/ Cards with Visuals (Total = 72 /k/)
• 24 Initial, 24 Medial, and 24 Final /g/ Cards with Visuals (Total = 72 /g/)
• 24 Initial, 24 Medial, and 24 Final /f/ Cards with Visuals (Total = 72 /f/)
• 18 Initial, 18 Medial, and 18 Final /v/ Cards with Visuals (Total = 54 /v/)
♦ Total in Packet = 270 Cards with Visuals
• Use this activity two ways:
♦ Purchase the game Mustache Smash. Use these mustache cards in lieu (or alongside) the Mustache Smash game cards. Play the game as usual, but in order for the student to keep the card, he/she has to produce the word correctly. The student with the most collected cards at the end of the game/session is the winner.
♦ Use these cards and provide each student with a fly swatter. Have each student select a color (yellow, red, or black). Students may choose the same colors if desired. Turn a card over, and the students must swat the card if the mustache matches the color they chose. The first student to swat the card can attempt to produce the word correctly. If the word is produced correctly, he/she can keep the card. If not, the card should be returned to the table to allow the other student(s) to try. The student with the most collected cards at the end of the game/session is the winner.
