Need a new fun way to have students choose partners? My students have LOVED finding a "Mustache Partner". I read a card first (I randomly chose one card from the stack). The students who can fit the description raise their hand and I choose that person to pick a partner first. He/she picks a new card and reads it aloud. Every student that fits that description raises their hand. Then, the students choose a partner. Then, just repeat the process with each student. Super easy! Any time you need for students to find partners, you can whip these adorable cards out...math, guided reading, science/social studies...it's up to you!
I have created 80 different cards to partner students up. The cards range from favorite colors, food, sports they play, restaurants they like, seasons they were born in, and many, many more. What a fun way for the students to learn about each other!
This would also work as a GREAT icebreaker activity for the beginning of the year.
Please ask if you have any questions before purchasing. Thanks for stopping by!
