Students will examine three types of mutations; point, frame shift, and deletion. For each type of mutation they will write the new copy of DNA, what the mRNA will be, and identify the amino acid sequences. There is also a section where the mutations accumulate and students will be able to see what happens to the amino acid sequence when multiple mutations occur within a strand of DNA. I have included a PDF and Word version of this worksheet.
