This activity is to help deaf/hard of hearing students learn to advocate for themselves. If you are an SLP, Teacher of the Deaf or Audiologist who works with students with hearing loss, this will be helpful to you! I received 2 new students this year and observed that they don't communicate with their teachers about using their DM/FM mics. I decided the best way to tackle this is to create a separate activity focusing on this one issue. It can be completed with the student and glued in the Self-Advocacy Interactive Notebook Unit on Amplification. Possible answers are included as well as blank spaces to add additional answers. If you find that your students need more help with their amplification, please go to Hearing Aid TicTacToe Bingo, Roger Pen DM/FM TicTacToe Bingo, Interactive Self-Advocacy Notebook Unit on Amplification and coming soon is Roger Touchscreen Mic TicTacToe Bingo!
