Muzzy is an older language learning series. The graphics appear to be from the 1970´s. The students enjoy seeing "vintage" cartoons and will comment on how much animation has progressed since the writing of this series.
I like to incorporate this series because the speakers are native, and there is a lot of repetitiveness to the structures/vocabulary that is being taught in a given segment.
Part two, which this handout accompanies, introduces, ¿De dónde vienes?, este, eso, aquello, tengo hambre, the commands: vete, ven aquí, para, mira, escucha.
I have more viewing guides for the additional series episodes available in my store.
These are also useful to assign students that may be absent due to illnesses.
I pause the video to review the material they should be hearing/capturing while we are watching. This takes a lot of the fear out of being able to "keep up."
