This is a fun way to get kids sharing their thoughts and experiences about the 100th day of school. It encourages students to read, write, and share.
Teachers can print and enlarge pages 1 and 2 as a poster or copy them on regular paper. Teachers can complete the poster pages with their own information and use them as examples for the students.
Afterward give each student a copy of page 1 to complete his/her own thoughts about the 100th day of school.
Next, give page 2 or 3 to each student. Pick the type of lined writing paper you will need for your class before printing. Have your students complete the first sentence on the page. Then using page 1 as their notes the students can extend and add more details to their sentences. They can also write about other things they think are relevant.
Once everyone has completed their work the students can read and share their writings with each other. You can hang their work up on a bulletin board to decorate your classroom.
