A flipbook that can be printed and used in Interactive Math Notebook to draw and describe the attributes of 3-D shapes.
This upgraded version of the book that has sections for labeling the attributes such as the vertices, faces, edges, and a description tally chart of the faces.
In the upgraded version, there is also a step by step version with color coded steps for drawing each shape. It teaches the proper method for drawing 3-D shapes in order to see and count each attribute. Many worksheets and tests do not display the entire figure, leaving children guessing at what they cannot see. If students are properly taught to draw the shapes from an early age, the develop a strong foundational sense of spatial reasoning. My 2nd graders LOVED learning how to draw shapes like an artist.
This file is designed for 2 sided printing and projector display of material and answers.
This book includes these 3-D shapes:

It can be modified for higher grade levels, and tailored for each state's specific standard. I teach 2nd grade in Texas. I have taught grades 2-5, so I am familiar with these standards as well.
