Positive Affirmations can be a powerful tool to help shape your mindset in the new year. Use it for your students to start the new year with a growth mindset. Reflect and choose the words that describe the person you want to become, decide what change you’d like to see in yourself or your life under “My Promise to myself this year”, choose two things you’d like to learn, and two habits you’d like to start doing this year. When it’s all filled out, post it where you can see it daily (such as by your bedside, on the bathroom mirror, by your backpack, etc.) and read it every day, in the morning and at night. You would be surprised where you’ll be by the end of this year. Have a terrific 2020!
