This resource is great for monitoring behavior, communicating with parents, or as an intervention tool. Invaluable for data collection on behavior related issues!
The behavior book has six different covers to choose from - 3 boy/3 girl.
There are 2 daily schedule pages - also boy and girl versions.
The schedule page breaks the student's day down into short sections -
morning, lunch, afternoon, recess, and specials.
Having a limited number of sections allows the student to receive adequate feedback throughout the day while still remaining manageable for the teacher.
Including lunch, specials, and recess allows the classroom teacher to monitor behavior even during times when he/she may not be with the student.
Picture cues help students find the right spot to record their behavior by coloring a happy or sad face. An adjoining space allows the teacher to record notes for parent communication/data collection.
Helpful Notes: Print child's name on the top of one schedule page, THEN make multiple copies of the page. Choose a cover and either staple together the cover and the schedule pages OR use a folder or binder. The schedule and the covers are offset to the right to allow for stapling or binding.
