My Body Book
As I teach about the human body, I like for my students to write down what they have learned. Often, students get bored with constantly writing in their science journals and need a little change. So, I created this simple and easy to make book for my students to record information about the brain, heart, lungs, stomach, muscles, and skeleton. Just simply print, copy, and staple the pages together. My students enjoy getting a chance to create a book and color the different parts of their body.
Since my students are constantly summarizing the information taught to add to their book, I can quickly assess which students truly understand the topic and which ones need a review.
Also, for added research fun, this can even be used a team research project. Just assign each student a body part to research and record their findings. Once the group is finished, they can put all their parts together to make one group book to present to the class.
