I use this booklet as a writing and research activity as my students are studying bats and caves in October. They use books and/or the Internet to find information on the various types of bats. We put the pages into 3 prong folders and the students work on them whenever they have time in the classroom (great for those early finishers)!
You can have students pick and choose the pages they want to include. I included 9 different types of bats. I have students include a did you know fact as well as interesting information!
Students color a picture of the bat in the circle and then fill in the rest of the information.
black haired bat
free tailed bat
grey headed flying fox
leaf nosed bat
little red haired flying fox
spear nosed bat
spectacled flying fox
*I included a blank page if you want to add additional bats!
