Seven year old Eloise loves her favorite book, that she received when she was only four years old. Her favorite book was filled with tales of a beautiful blonde princess, flowers, a birthday party and even a treasure box filled with gold- real gold. Despite her moms’ reminders to put the book on the shelf, Eloise shares her book with family and friends. Unfortunately Eloise learns how it feels when her book is run over by a dump truck, shredded by a really bad kitty, chewed on by a playful puppy, smoothered with bubbles and buried under chocolate cake and ice cream. Elosie and her mommy try to repair the damage, but have little success. Mommy and Eloise cuddle in the rocking chair as they develop a plan to replace a favorite book.
