Product Description
This higher-order thinking unit accompanies the novel My Brother Sam Is Dead by Christopher Collier and James Collier. It includes a VERY helpful timeline of the American Revolution and a description of the different sides of the war. This is extremely helpful for ESL and special education students. My students keep this in their binder to refer to as they are reading. There are also higher order thinking questions about the novel, a short essay test, and a newspaper project that uses synthesis, analysis, and evaluation. My students love this book and the unit. Also, it's a great way for them to learn about the American Revolution.
