Product Description
Note: This product can be used either during or after reading the book.

This fill-in puzzle is based on 22 last names of characters from MY BROTHER SAM IS DEAD. Students insert the name into the empty crossword-type grid based on the number of letters each word has. As students work, letter clues for subsequent answers appear. A great spelling workout!

NOTE: Fill-ins can be challenging. Allow extra time as they take a bit of thought and planning. Teachers may want to provide letter hints and/or have students work in pairs. Be sure students are working with pencils!

See preview for an example as the thumbnails display only partial puzzle grids.

***Perfect filler activities for after tests, between lessons, or at the end of the day!***
