This is a creative assignment to help students understand the MLA format and how to properly cite sources on a Works Cited Page. Students will reference an online source in this activity.
** UPDATE: I would suggest the use of the MLA Handbook 8th Edition as a reference source for new MLA formatting.
My students practice citing sources and I usually have them practice typing up the format for a paper before the first typed paper is due. Since many students still struggle with formatting correctly, this activity was designed to help them understand types of sources and how to cite them correctly by locating items to include on their "Bucket List."
NOTE: The preview page does not show the scalloped edging that is in the Word document.
This resource will include instructions on accessing an online resource, what to include on the "my bucket list," a rubric for grading and exit ticket questions.
