My Busy Day: A Book to Relate Time to Events
This is a book that can be used to help teach students how to relate time to events. For example, What do you usually do at 6:00pm?
On each page, the student must look at the analog clock and think of something they usually do at that time of day. There are a sun or stars on each page to help the student decipher between daytime and nighttime. The student must then write a sentence and draw a picture that tells about the event that occurs at that time. Pages are included for 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, & 9pm. There is also a blank page with a blank clock where students can fill in any time they would like, including time to the half hour, etc.
To assemble the book, you may staple the printed pages together or, if your copy machine allows, assemble the pages into a booklet.
