To help make learning about the Chinese New Year and Zodiac Signs I have created this kid friendly, easy to make, and fun to use fact filled My Chinese New Year Zodiac Wheel. This was created to go along with one of my new favorite storybooks from our local library: Sam and the Lucky Money by Karen Chinn. Even though I made it use alongside this storybook, any child learning about the Chinese New Year or the Chinese Zodiacs should be able to use this resource.
The Chinese Zodiacs help determine what type of person you could be based on traditions. They provide general traits and characteristics that someone born in a certain year may or may not exhibit. The Chinese Zodiac completes one full rotation every 12 years and each zodiac is used once. To help make your zodiac learning fun I have created the My Chinese New Year Zodiac Wheel for you and your child or students to use to learn about the Chinese New Year, the zodiacs, and what the zodiacs represent.
