I created this book after hearing from parents that their children were going home at the end of the day and saying, “I don’t know” or “I don’t remember” when asked what they did at school. Each afternoon (or morning) students can record the “I Can” statements for each subject or the activity they did. Then they can write one highlight of the day at the bottom of the page
This version also has a place for students to color their behavior for the day and a place for you to put a list or chart of what the behavior colors mean in your classroom. (Example: green means ready to learn, blue means outstanding day, yellow means a warning was given, orange means there was a consequence given, purple means an excellent day, etc.)
This book can be sent home daily or weekly for parents to initial. This can be made into a booklet by printing out multiple copies of the daily pages.
