This yearlong, digital resource will have your students creating a complete digital portfolio of their work throughout the year on either Google Slides or Power Point.
What you will find in this resource is a 17 page template for Google Slides/Power Point that will allow your students to keep a digital record of their work samples and thoughts throughout the school year. Students will use the technological skills they are learning in class (creating text boxes, taking pictures or screenshots, adding images, typing, changing fonts/sizes, etc.) to build a digital yearbook and portfolio that will chronical their time in your class this year.
Each month, the students will be prompted to finish various tasks to help them build their portfolio. The tasks vary, but all include inserting at least one sample of their work, taking pictures, and inserting text boxes. These tasks are NON-EDITABLE, meaning that the directions can not be changed by you. The students can insert text boxes over the slide, but you CAN NOT change the directions on the template itself.
This project may then be kept in a digital format OR it can be printed. Once it is printed, the students can cut out the bordered boxes and glue them into an 8in x 8in blank book that can be found in the Target Dollar Spot. The pages can also simply be stapled together to create a hardcopy of the students digital work. This will make a great keepsake of the students’ year with you.
All of the slides on the Google Slide template are locked in. Students can not move the slides around. The slides are also UNEDITABLE by you. You CAN NOT EDIT this file at all. Please do not purchase this if you would like to change any directions, as it is not possible.
