Print out feeling cards on cardstock to make them sturdy. Laminate the cards and cut them apart. You can put these in a pocket chart and add each child’s name on each row. Then they can place the card next to their name. Or you can apply Velcro to the back of the feeling cards so the students can change out their cards throughout the day depending on their emotions. You will have to make a separate chart for the class names and adding Velcro next to their name to place their feeling card. Place “My Feelings” chart near the feeling choice cards so they can see all the emotions in one place. There are 2 “How are You Feeling” headers to separate the boys and girls if you choose. There is also a weekly “Feelings Chart” that can be sent home weekly or daily for parents to initial.
