Product Description
Hi Teacher Friends!

I am planning on using this dictionary in my kindergarten class as a center rotation once each week for the ENTIRE year. This differentiated dictionary is great for your below-level, on-level, and beyond-level students.

Suggestions for Use:

Below-Level Students: Use the easier dictionary for your below level students (pages 57-108). Students will trace and practice writing each letter. They will cut, color, and paste the pictures (p. 109-134) into their dictionary and write the word next to the picture.

On-Level Students: Use the more challenging dictionary for your on-level students (pages 5-56). Students will trace and practice writing each letter. They will cut, color, and paste the pictures (p. 109-134) into their dictionary and write the word next to the picture (students will have 2 pictures left over). Then students will write and illustrate a sentence using one of the words of their choice.

Above-Level Students: Use the more challenging dictionary for your on-level students (pages 5-56). Students will trace and practice writing each letter. Students will use a class dictionary to find and illustrate their own words and write the word next to the picture. Then students will write and illustrate a sentence using one of the words of their choice.
