Construct a child's first timeline with printable pages starting with a page about where and when a child was born. The remaining pages in this 10-page project includes room for children to cut and paste pictures of themselves from when they were born up to age 6. This is an interactive project - a letter is included for the parents to work with this project at home as well as in school. The letter to parents asks for the child and his/her parents to sift through pictures together of their child at different ages and stages of their lives. Together they will not only pick out pictures but will take notes to take back to school about that time in their lives, about either a milestone, a favourite toy or something special about them at that age. Parents and children can talk about these things and write answers to one question for each page, for example, "When I was one I was..." example, "learning how to talk, crawling, walking, playing with trains." At school children will trace these answers onto their pages and then glue the pages onto a long piece of butcher paper that they can later roll up and take home.
