My Hearing - a book just for you

By ensuring that children with hearing loss have knowledge about their hearing loss they will be better able to stand up for who they are and what they need. The booklet “My hearing” is a 12 pages unique fill-in booklet developed by Growing Listening Minds and aims to teach children about their hearing loss.

"This book contains things that may be good for you to know about yourself and your hearing loss. There are things in this book that you already know, but there are also things that you may not know. It's always good to learn new things about yourself. You can also use that knowledge to tell others around you such as your parents, teachers or friends. Some of the questions in this book may be a little difficult for you to answer on your own. It is therefore great if someone helps you. For example, you can read and complete this book together with: your parents, your educational audiologist, your pediatric audiologist or your speech and language pathologist"
