As a teacher, I was often frustrated with the number of students who lost assignments and/or turned them in all crumbled up from being in the back of their desk. I began to use binders with them in hopes of getting them alittle more organized. I purchased the 1-inch Presentation View Binders from Sam's (they came in sets of 8), and I used index dividers for each subject area.
The attached files have the cover page that I gave the students to decorate for their binder. It also includes a cover page for their "Ketchup" folder, which was a red pocket folder that I hole-punched and put in front of the binder. This was where the students placed any unfinished assignments or work that was handed out while they were absent.
