My Kindergarten ABC Book is designed as a hands- on alphabet learning project. In my classroom, my students complete one page at a time in the sequence that I teach the alphabet. I save the pages as they complete them. At the end of the year I bind each student's pages together and send the booklet home as a keepsake from Kindergarten.
The download contains a list of materials/supplies that you will need for each letter. All items are easily accessible and likely they are already in your supply closet.
All 26 letters are included in the download. Here is a sample of the activities your students will do:
Aa is for apples.
Cut an apple in half. Dip it in paint and use it to make apple prints on the Aa.
Bb is for Band-Aid.
Give each student 4-5 band-aids to attach to the Bb.
Cc is for cotton.
Give each student 2-3 cotton balls to stretch out and attach to the Cc.
Dd is for dots.
Use bingo makers to make dots all over the Dd.
If you need to make changes to the programed pages please refer to pages 38-63. These pages have been provided to allow for My Kindergarten ABC Book customization options.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as my students and I do.
