Product Description
My Little Spring Story Book - Creative Imaginative Writing Prompts about Spring for Preschool & Kindergarten consists of 9 pages of 9 creative and imaginative writing prompts about Spring. Each page has a picture for children to color and an open-ended question encouraging children to engage in divergent and creative thinking in giving an answer.
There is also a space with lines where kindergartners can write their little story (it might be just a sentence) or in the case of preschoolers the teacher can write the story or sentence that the children dictate.
Below each picture there is a small space for children to draw something in relation to their answer.
A cover and a contents page is also included so you can make a booklet by stapling all the pages along the dotted line. Children are encouraged to draw a picture on the cover page and write their names.
You can have a discussion with children about the making of a book and its parts like the author, the illustrator, the title, the cover page and cover picture and the contents page.
At the right hand corner of each page there is a small oval shape for you or the children to enter the number of the page. It is purposely left blank so you can arrange the pages yourselves in any order you want.

The activity is intended for preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade and can be used and adapted accordingly.
