This fun freebie is a great way to introduce magnets to your class. Print off a copy for each student and they can put it together to make a book. On the cover, they write their name so it becomes their own book about magnets. Each page has an adorable, colorful illustration to help teach a simple fact. The sentences contain vocabulary words and high frequency words. The last page of the book is a place for your students to connect to the topic and write where they've seen magnets around them. Enjoy!
Teacher tip: The best way for students to explore magnets is to be hands-on. If possible, allow them to use a variety of types of magnets (horseshoes, bar, etc.) to explore the classroom and school around them! Being able to "feel" attract and repel will help them understand the concepts and what it truly means.
