Mother's Day Poem that is truly a keepsake. Students answer questions about their moms and you use their words verbatim to make this poem hilarious and precious. Heading can be changed to meet the needs of diverse families (stepmothers, grandmothers, aunts, nanas, etc.) My students make as many as needed, so that no immediate mother figure is left out. HINT: Ask questions individually, away from other students so that they do not repeat others remarks. Recess is what works for me.
