My Mouth is a Volcano--Interrupting Lesson (Character Education)

This fun, quick activity is designed to go with the book My Mouth is a Volcano by Julia Cook. The book is all about learning to contain your words rather than "erupting". This worksheet gives students a chance to illustrate an incorrect choice (Volcano Mouth) and a Better Choice, as well as writing an explanation of each. Students can reflect on experiences they have with interrupting and waiting their turn. This helps them think through future choices and (hopefully) interrupt less and less!
